The name
Matter, warded.
Matter is the physical thing: a phone, a watch, a board, a machine. Ward means to keep and to guard.
The name describes where the company is going. Software that sits on the thing it acts on, and eventually the hardware to go with it. Our assistant already runs its agent loop on the handset.
Matterward Labs Private Limited is registered in Bhadrak, Orissa, and based in Odisha. The work started in 2011.
